KATA : discovering the messages
Our study is devoted to the research, the discovery of the messages which evoke and present our bases and our principles.
Consequently, their execution will have to make the demonstration and then to bring some explanations with examples of
application in the techniques and especially in the principles which they suggest.
Example: Nage-No-Kata
The first movement Uki-Otoshi: the approach of the two partners will have to show the involved forces ready to clash then
once the contact is established, to yield up (one of our fundamental principles).
Second movement Ippon-Seoi-Nage:
a) The dodging of the body by Tai-Sabaki
b) The wheel on the back (Guruma) without being pulled, even less torn off as it became its current name.
Explanation, demonstration:
First movement: The principle of yielding up is not natural, we involve ourselves with the realization in our "Pushing,
Pulling".
Second movement:
a) The importance of the dodging in the attack from top to bottom
b) The movement must create the emptiness and is especially applied in the techniques of projection, such as Ippon-Seoi-Nage.
