1860: birth of Kano.
1869: death of his mother. From 7 to 11 years old, he studies: Chinese and Penmanship.
1870: goes to Tokyo.
1872: English studies.
1874: he studies at the national school of foreign languages.
1875: he studies at the Kaïsei national school which becomes University of Tokyo in 1877.
1877: he studies at the University of literature and starts to practice Ju-jutsu with Fukuda Hachinosuke.
1879: he presents an exhibition in front of the General Grant. Death of Fukuda. Kano receives the Densho of the school (books of transmission) and continues practicing with Iso Masatomo.
1880: exhibition at the university with the school of Tozuka.
1881: bachelor of arts. Death of Iso Masatomo. Kano studies at the school of Kito with Iikubo Tsunetoshi.
1882: Professor of economy and politics. Kano moves at Eishoji, builts a boarding house, Kodokan and Kobunkan. He finishes his studies of philosophy.
1883: Kano receives the teaching diploma(Menkyo) of Iikubo.
1884: Professor of economy at the agriculture school.
1885: becomes secretary of the school of the noble ones. Two of his pupils, Yamashita and Yokoyama, become instructors at the police forces.
1886: Kodokan moves in the Fujimi district.
1887: the techniques of projection (40 of the gokyo), the techniques of control (Katame-No-Kata) for Randori, Ju-No-Kata and Itsutsu-No-Kata are formalized.
1888: death of Iikubo. Yokoyama and Sato teach Judo courses at the school of the marine. Kano replaces the vice-chancellor of the noble ones school.
1889: Kano's speech at the meeting of physical education: judo in general and its values from the education point of view. Study trip in Europe, via Shangaï. Return by Cairo.
1891: returns of trip. Marriage. Conseillor of the Minister of the national education and Director of the College of Kumamoto.
1893: returns to Tokyo. Director of the national superior school.
1899: the Judo gets in Butoku kaï of Kyoto.
1900: creation of the research center at Kodokan.
1901: Kodokan has 6.000 members and 212 black belts.
1902: Kano goes to China for an official inspection. Yamashita goes to the USA.
1905: second trip to China. Kano is member of the commission of the national Education.
1907: Kodokan has Shimotomisaka: 207 tatamis.
1909: member of the Olympic International Committee.
1911: creation of a section for the training of the professors of Judo in Kodokan.
1912: Kano goes at the Olympic Games of Stockholm. Meets Coubertin. Change of the rules of Randori and Shodan in Kodokan. Death of Yokoyama.
1920: third trip to Europe, via the USA. Goes in London's Budokaï with Aïda. Olympic Games Anvers.
1926: creation of the women section in Kodokan on new bases of Judo.
1928: fourth trip to Europe, via China and Moscow. Olympic Games of Amsterdam. Meeting in Versailles.
Exhibition in Italy with Matakatsu Mori. Geneva. Paris. London. Berlin. He does an exhibition to the Ministry of the national Education with Nagaoka and Mifune on Seiryoku Zen' Yo-No-Kata. Introduction of the practice of Bojutsu in the Katori school. Speech on Judo in Shangaï.
1929: Kano and Yamashita show Koshiki-No-kata at the Imperial Palate.
1932: goes to the USA. Olympic Games and speech in Los Angeles.
1933: fifth trip to Europe, via China, Moscow, Vienna. Speech and meetings. Feldenkrais in Paris at the technical school. Exhibition with Kotani in Joinville. Exhibition in London. Conference in Munich. Speech in Madrid.
1934: sixth trip to Europe, via Moscow, Vienna, Athens (Speech). Goes to Paris with Nagaoka (brings back films on Randori and Kata to Feldenkrais). Return by Colombo, Singapore, Hong-Kong, Shangaï.
1936: seventh trip, via the USA. Olympic Games of Berlin. Sees Kawaishi which recommended to Feldenkrais for Ju-Jutsu-Club-of-France.
1938: eighth trip to Europe, via Cairo and Athens for the ceremony of death of Coubertin. Kano passes by Italy then Paris to see his former pupil and ambassador of Japan, Sugimura Yotaro. He gets sick and dies on the return boat on the 4th of May.
